Role Description
The Cashier will be responsible for processing customer payments accurately and efficiently while maintaining high levels of customer service. The Cashier will provide billing information, answer customer inquiries, and prepare receipts and reports. The Cashier will also balance cash drawers and reconcile the register at the end of the shift.
Qualifications
- Prior cashier or customer service experience preferred
- Strong attention to details and accuracy
- Ability to handle cash and perform basic math functions
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work well under pressure and in a fast-paced environment
- Basic computer skills
Responsibilities
- Daily Office collection.
- Encoding of bills remitted collections.
- Upload accrued penalties.
- Filing of issued official receipts.
- Collection drive (by schedule).
- Issuance of collection receipts.
- Encoding of newly read concessionaires’ bills not yet uploaded in the system.
- Other ad hoc tasks that may be assigned from time to time by department head and/or branch manager.
